GUITAR LESSONS
Acoustic or electric guitar lessons with DPV are fun, engaging and exciting for all ages! We meet students where they are, teaching them to play their instrument using songs they love! With a Montessori approach, we'll customize the plan to fit each students goals. If the goal is to ROCK OUT...that's what we do. If the goal is play bluegrass...that's what we do.

Progress, practice, longevity etc. Students choose the songs our instructors use to teach them how to play their instrument. Weather your a 5 year old that's never plucked a string, or a tween or teen that has some skill, or a 60 year old who's played for decades...we will customize the lesson plan to help you achieve your goals! What Styles do you teach?
We teach it all! Weather your a newbie looking to ROCK OUT, or a veteran that's been around and want to refine those chops...we teach you what YOU want. Styles include rock, pop, jazz, funk, blues, reggae and more!
What are the qualificationS of your instructors?
Every instructor that works with DPV goes through a rigorous interview process with our owner, Lael, as well as TBI/FBI background check. Most instructors come to us from prestigious schools like Berkley College of Music, Belmont University, Miami University or Musicians Institute. However, just because you went to a great school doesn't make you more qualified to teach an instrument. We work with the best of Nashville's working musicians who demonstrate exceptional skills on their instrument, good communication, have great character and who love kids!
Do I need to purchase a GUITAR to learn GUITAR?
The short answer is "No." Do you need a guitar to learn the guitar, yes. However, with DPV you can "try before you buy". We have full acoustic or electric rentals* that are delivered to your door. We even have parlor size, or 3/4 size, guitars for our youngest and smallest of rockers! Then, when you are sure the student is committed, you can use our DPV Purchase Program to find an instrument cheaper than anywhere online or in store!
*Rentals are $50/month. Acoustic or electric guitar. Both come with tuner, amp, cord, gig bag and guitar stand.
